Are you ‘Cross curious? Thinking about giving cyclocross a go this fall? Wondering what all of the buzz is about? Come out to our free ‘Cross clinic to learn the basic skills and tips that will get you up to speed. This is a clinic for riders who know their way around a road or mountain bike, but are true beginners to cyclocross. This clinic isn’t for ‘Cross racers hoping to take their skills to the next level. Our instructors will focus on helping you take the first steps toward grasping the skills that are unique to cyclocross. We will have multiple instructors to ensure that everyone can get some individual help, as needed. The clinic will cover: dismounting; remounting; clearing barriers; shouldering the bike; tackling hills; navigating off-camber sections; tips on equipment and more.

Please bring:

–A cyclocross bike or a mountain bike (preferably one without full suspension). If possible, remove any bottle cages before you arrive (we’ll help if you can’t).

–Off-road shoes with cleats and clipless pedals

–Fitted cycling gear (nothing baggy).

–Your helmet (just in case)

–Gloves (preferably long-finger ones)

The clinic is free, but space is limited, so RSVP to
